Q: Someone found in a Masjid (mosque) a Copy of the Qur’an in which Surah Al-Isra’ is called by a name other than its known name. It is called: Surah
Bani Israel.
He is asking about the validity of this name.
A:
Calling Surah Al-Isra’ by Surah
Bani Israel is valid and scholars approved of it.
