Q 6: Is it permissible to explain the evidence that is contained in some noble Ayahs (Qur’anic verses) without mentioning the text of the Ayahs?
A:
It is permissible to explain the Ayahs and state their meanings without reading their text if the interpreter is trustworthy, reliable, and knowledgeable of the Tafsir (explanation/exegesis of the meanings) of the Ayahs according to the methodology of Ahl-ul-Sunnah wal-Jama‘ah (those adhering to the Sunnah and the Muslim main body).
