Q 4:
Some Muslims kiss and wipe their faces with the Mushaf (copy of the Qur’an) before starting to recite from it. Is there any evidence in the Shari‘ah to support the permissibility of this act? Please enlighten me.
A:
This practice has no origin in the sanctified Shari‘ah (law) of Islam.
